REAL IMPACT BRINGS THE UNIQUE BEAUTY OF PACIFIC DESIGN TO NEW YORK
Social enterprise REAL Impact showcased its CONSIDERED by realPacific Collection at NY NOW in New York as part of its Artisan Resource Collection held across 3-6 February. This first of it kind collection showcased undiscovered creative communities, art and design from the Pacific.
NY NOW features over 600 exhibitors that are considered the ultimate collection of USA and Global artisan products.The Artisan Resource at NY NOW is the production-sourcing venue for overseas artisan enterprises to showcase their products and production capabilities at export terms from the country of origin.

CONSIDERED by real is the e-commerce platform that offers a single location for businesses and consumers to source Pacific Island artisan goods from small-batch artisan producers. The products shown at NY NOW are available for purchase through the site. These include:
· Stools, lights and baskets from the Ialibu Province in the Southern Highlands of Papua New Guinea
· Carved totem lights and tables from the Trobriand Islands of Papua New Guinea
· Tapa (bark cloth) from the Ora Province, Papua New Guinea
· Bilum natural fibre bags from the Eastern Highlands, Papua New Guinea
· Mamasan Chairs by Solcane from the Solomon Islands
